Are you about to try a class and unsure about what to bring?
Different modalities require different types of attire, and we're here to help.
If you're attending an Aerial Hoop/Lyra, Aerial Hammock, Aerial Silks, Flexibility, or Yoga class, it's best to prepare leggings/pants, a t-shirt, and a pair of socks. For example, in Lyra, you'll be using the back of your knees to grip the hoop, so wearing pants will be less painful than having skin contact.
For Flexibility classes, you'll be doing exercises similar to those in yoga classes. It's ideal to have warm muscles or feet that can slide on the floor, hence the use of pants/leggings and socks. The studio provides yoga mats for students, but feel free to bring your own if you have one.
If you're attending a Pole Dance class for the first time, be aware that sometimes pole choreographies require the use of pants/leggings or even knee pads. If you have knee pads, you can bring them; otherwise, the studio provides some pairs.
The knee pads we use are these from Decathlon, which you can buy or order online here.
For your first Pole class, wear any comfortable clothes like those you'd wear for yoga or the gym. Also, bring a pair of shorts with you in case you need to change for some elements involving contact with the pole. To see what shorts look like and even order them, click here. You don't need to spend much on good Pole clothes!
It's also good to wear a top that allows you to perform certain movements to ensure support with your arms and armpits, in addition to offering support and comfort, like this one.
Footwear: whatever you prefer, or none at all.
Call or WhatsApp 915012266 if you have any remaining doubts.
There are other amenities you can enjoy at the studio, including filtered water, coffee, and some snacks. We look forward to seeing you!
